Telkom to hold its first high school esports league tournament

Telkom has announced that the inaugural VS Gaming High School Esports League tournament will take place at Comic Con South Africa in partnership with HSEL.

The teams which have qualified for the 15 September tournament are:

  • CS:GO – Paul Roos Gymnasium, Westville Boys’ High School, Parklands College.
  • Dota 2 – Westville Boys’ High School, Oakhill School, Paul Roos Gymnasium.

“Registration for the 2019 online league will take place on VS Gaming’s website from 24 September 2018 and any schools that are currently part of the HSEL are eligible to take part,” added VS Gaming.

Schools that are not currently part of HSEL can contact them on [email protected] to register.

“As the HSEL we are very excited to participate in the Telkom VS Gaming HSEL. This partnership is massive for the high school league and its players,” said Tyrone Green from HSEL.
