PlayStation reveals Black Friday deals for South Africa
Sony Interactive Entertainment has revealed its Black Friday 2023 deals for PlayStation hardware and games.
The offers will be available from 17 to 30 November 2023 and will include discounts on PS5 consoles and bundles.
In South Africa, the standalone PlayStation 5 console with a disc drive will sell for R11,999, down R1,700 from its recommended retail price. That works out to a saving of 12%.
The Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition Bundle, which includes custom side panels, a custom DualSense controller, and a Spider-Man 2 digital game download, will be marked down by R2,700.
Its regular retail price is R15,999, so that offer comes down to a discount of 17%.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition PS5 Bundle
The other Spider-Man 2 Bundle, which includes a regular PS5 console and the game, will sell for R2,000 less than its regular price.
This bundle normally costs R14,999 with the standard console and R13,099 with the digital-only system.
In terms of PlayStation peripherals, the following deals will be on offer:
- DualSense charging stations — R499 (normally R599)
- DualSense Controllers — R1,299 (normally R1,499)
- Pulse 3D wireless headsets — R1,499 (normally R1,899)
Lastly, Sony will offer discounts on “tonnes” of its exclusive games for PS4 and PS5.
This includes Gran Turismo 7 for PS5 at R799, God of War: Ragnarok for PS5 at R899, and Horizon Forbidden West for PS4 and PS5 at R699.
