Xbox reveals Black Friday deals for South Africa
Prima Interactive has unveiled Xbox Black Friday deals exclusive to South African gamers that will be available from 20 to 27 November 2023.
Deals include savings on Series X and S console bundles with games or Game Pass subscriptions, discounts on controller models, and marked-down Xbox gift cards.
South Africans can buy an Xbox Series S 512GB Starter Bundle, bundled with a 3-month Game Pass Ultimate subscription, for R6,699.
The Game Pass Ultimate subscription costs R129 monthly, meaning the three-month subscription is valued at around R390.
Xbox fans can also opt to buy just the console. However, they will pay the same price of R6,699.
“There will be fantastic savings on the Series X console, the fastest and most powerful Xbox ever,” Prima Interactive added.
The Xbox Series X will be available standalone or bundled with one of two games:
- Xbox Series X 1TB Standalone — R11,999
- Xbox Series X + Diablo IV — R11,999
- Xbox Series X + Forza Horizon Premium Edition — R11,999
For these Xbox Series X deals, Prima Interactive says customers stand to save R2,000 on the standalone console and up to R3,599 on the bundle deals.
In addition to console deals, Prima Interactive is offering a 10% discount on R500 Xbox Gift Cards, for which customers will pay R450.
“All Xbox Gamers will also benefit from a discount of 10% on the R500 Xbox Gift Card, which they can use to redeem Game Pass membership, games, and-ons and more,” it said.
“The following top-rated games are included in Game Pass: FIFA23, Forza Horizon, Minecraft, Starfield, Forza Motorsport and 100+ more games.”
Those looking to upgrade or replace their controller also have several Black Friday deals from which to choose, including the Xbox Elite v2 controller for R3,629, the Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 in Core White for R2,499, and the Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 in Core Blue or Red for R2,599.
