Top gaming news this week – E3 2012 build-up
The saying ‘the calm before the storm’ is absolute rubbish. Next week is the colossal E3 expo, and thinking that the week prior to all the big showings is a terrible misconception. MyGaming was swarmed with pre-E3 content, news and announcements that excited, intrigued and kept us busy throughout the week.
Pre E3 peek
E3 stuff rolled in hard and fast, as we got new details, screenshots and reveals for Tomb Raider, Metal Gear Rising, a new Gears of War, Star Wars: 1313, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, just to name a few.

Crystal ball still a little fuzzy
There’s still a lot of questions as to what may be shown at E3.

We braced ourselves for some upcoming scares.

Prices were slapped on some things, and people made some noise about it.

Some games and services became a lot cheaper.

If there’s a will, there’s a way
Carmageddon reboot reached its Kickstarter target and Chinese gamers found a way to get Diablo III despite current availability issues.

But, instead of celebrating all the great game announcements, industry people continued complaining.
