Telecoms department Director General Rosey Sekese charged

The Minister of Telecommunications and Postal Services, Siyabonga Cwele, has decided to charge Director General Rosey Sekese.

This is according to a statement issued by the Ministry on 11 November.

According to the Ministry, Sekese was served with charges, and the disciplinary process started on 3 November.

“The Department will advise the public once these processes have been concluded by the chairperson of the inquiry,” said the Minister.

Sekese was placed on precautionary suspension in August, following reports that she was purging the department of those who opposed her.
