Zuma bombshell – Big cabinet reshuffle

President Jacob Zuma has announced a major cabinet reshuffle.

According to News24 journalist James de Villiers, several ministers have been removed or transferred to new departments.

The following changes were announced:

• Hlengiwe Mkhize is the new Minister of Higher Education and Training.
• Buti Manamela is the new Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training.
• Ayanda Dlodlo is the new Minister of Home Affairs.
• Mmamoloko Kubayi is the new Minister of Communications.
• David Mahlobo is the new Minister of Energy.
• Bongani Thomas is the new Minister of State Security.
