Dina Pule to face criminal charges

The Democratic Alliance (DA) has announced plans to lay criminal charges against Minister of Communications Dina Pule at the Cape Town Central police station tomorrow morning (10 April 2013).
In a statement issued today, the DA said that the charges relate to the alleged corruption in appointments made at the Department of Communications and its entities.
DA Shadow Minister of Communications, Marian Shinn, will lay charges against Pule, the political party said.
Media reports have implicated Pule in a number of scandals during her time as Minister of Communications, mostly involving Phosane Mngqibisa, with whom Pule is said to be romantically involved.
Pule has dismissed the claims, saying that Mngqibisa is not her boyfriend and that the articles are a smear campaign against her being waged by the Sunday Times.
