New MacBook Air launched, lower prices

Apple announced an update to its MacBook Air line of notebook personal computers in a press release on Tuesday 29, April 2014.
The MacBook Air range was last refreshed in June 2013, this most recent update includes faster processors and lower prices, Apple said.
As with earlier models, iLife and iWork come free on new computers from Apple.
iLife includes iMovie, GarageBand, and iPhoto. The iWork productivity suite is made up of Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.
Pricing & Availability
The new MacBook Airs are available immediately through Apple’s online store, retail stores, and select Apple Authorised Resellers, Apple said.
The 11-inch MacBook Air comes with a 1.4 GHz Intel Core i5 processor and 4GB of RAM, and is available in two main models:
- From $899 for 128GB of flash storage; and
- from $1,099 for 256GB of flash storage.
The 13-inch MacBook Air also has a 1.4 GHz Intel Core i5 processor and 4GB of RAM, and also comes in two base models:
- From $999 for 128GB of flash storage; and starting
- from $1,199 for 256GB of flash storage.
Configure-to-order options include a 1.7 GHz Intel Core i7 processor, up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 512GB flash storage.
