USB 3.1 support is included, along with a maximum performance rating of 850MBps, while the drives are housed in an aluminium casing.
This size and speed come with a price, though:
- 480 GB – $400
- 960 GB – $600

SanDisk also showed off its Extreme 500 Portable SSD range, which is available in 120GB ($100), 240GB ($150), and 480GB ($240) variances – all of which support USB 3.0.
