Nvidia launches new M40 and M4 Tesla cards
Nvidia has revealed its new Tesla cards aimed at the machine learning market – the M40 and the M4.
The company calls them hyperscale accelerators, with the M40 marking the introduction of the GM200 GPU to the Tesla line-up, according to Anandtech.
“The M40 is well-suited for quicker training of neural nets and other systems, while the M4 is well-suited for dense clusters of systems executing various machine learning tasks,” stated the report.
