LG shows off its latest computer monitors

LG is showing off its new curved UC98 21:9 UltraWide Monitor series at CES 2016, which is designed to ensure “maximum productivity and entertainment”.
All the monitors include LG’s proprietary picture quality enhancing IPS display technology and streamlined features for multitasking.
QHD resolution (3,440 x 1,440 pixels) and Thunderbolt 2 connectivity are standard.
The “flat” UC88 series, which is available in 29 and 34-inch sizes, is aimed at gamers – sporting AMD’s FreeSync technology.
Also debuting at CES is LG’s 2016 line of 4K Ultra HD Monitors, including the UD88 and UD68 series.
The UD88 monitor features USB Type C port technology, allowing users to charge a laptop and transfer data through a dedicated power cord.
