New rugged flash drive from Kingston
Kingston Technology has announced the release of the new Kingston DataTraveler R500. According to Kingston, it provides users with high-speed data transfer rates and a durable rubberised casing.
“This is the ideal solution for users such as: photographers or graphic designers who wish to store and share high-definition photos or videos, large documents, presentations or music,” said Grant Rau, business development manager for Kingston South Africa: “This is the ultimate USB Flash drive for those who desire fast transfer rates and a sturdy design.”
The Kingston DataTraveler R500 provides data transfer rates of up to 30MB/s read and 20MB/s write. It’s available in capacities of 16, 32 and 64GB.
