World’s Largest Full LED 3D TV: SA pricing revealed
The LG LZ9700 LED television is 59 inches wide and 40 inches tall, and boasts 400Hz TruMotion support, 3D TV and an ‘ultra-slim’ design.
“With full HD resolution on an LED display, the LZ9700 delivers pictures as large and colourful as paintings at an art gallery. The extra spacious screen size also makes the picture more immersive than ever, offering viewers a 3D experience every bit as good as the screen in the local multiplex,” LG said in a press statement.
The LZ9700 further allows viewers to enjoy video streaming from YouTube and photos via Google’s free web photo service, Picasa.
Further connectivity options come in the shape of a smart DLNA function, which lets users wirelessly access files stored on other media devices to enjoy them on the big screen.
The price will however not be within everyone’s budget. The 72-inch LZ9700 is available in South Africa at a recommended retail price of R249,999.99 (Including VAT).
