Intel has created a new organisation called the Automated Driving Group (ADG), which will be dedicated to innovating the future of driving.

It will also design the next generation of advanced driver assist systems and autonomous driving solutions.

Intel has appointed Doug Davis, who has over 30 years experience at Intel, to lead the group.

“Doug sees the new Automated Driving Group as another not-to-be missed opportunity to lead through disruption,” said Intel.

Kathy Winter will assist Davis as vice president and general manager of the Automated Solutions Division.
