MyBroadband conducted its 2017 Tech Survey in February, which revealed that Dell is the most popular computer brand among South African IT professionals.
The 2017 Tech Survey was completed by over 3,000 South African IT professionals and tech-savvy consumers.
80% of IT professionals said they own and use a laptop, with 59% using a desktop PC and 57% using a tablet.
21% of users said Dell is their favourite computer brand, followed by Lenovo, Apple, and HP – all on 13%.
51% of IT professionals said they are gamers, with more PC gamers than PlayStation and Xbox users.
