ASUS announces international overclocking competition

ASUS has announced the OC Showdown 2017 Team Edition overclocking competition, featuring squads of overclockers competing for prizes with a value of $5,000.

The tournament will run from 14 April to 5 June 2017 and will be hosted on HWBOT.

Teams are able to sign up at any time and competitors can register to take part in the competition by creating an HWBOT account.

To reach the top team ranking, overclockers will have to submit their best scores in five stages.

Stages 1 and 2 are limited to only air or water cooling, and scores using extreme cooling methods may be submitted from Stage 3 onwards.
