Huawei’s new MateBook X Pro is coming to South Africa.
The MateBook X Pro, which Huawei calls “a thing of beauty”, features a 3K resolution touchscreen and runs on Windows 10.
Huawei told MyBroadband the laptop will arrive in South Africa towards the middle of 2018.
Local pricing for MateBook X Pro is yet to be finalised, but recommended prices, at this stage, should be between R23,999 and R29,999.
Huawei unveiled the MateBook X Pro at Mobile World Congress 2018, detailing three models:
- Core i5 / 8GB RAM / 256GB Storage
- Core i7 / 8GB RAM / 512GB Storage
- Core i7 / 16GB RAM / 512GB Storage
The devices are powered by a battery which promises 12 hours of battery life, while the MateBook X Pro also features several connectivity options – including a USB-A, two USB-C, and headphone jack ports.
The MateBook X Pro will be available in Space Grey and Mystic Silver.
