AMD unveils two new low-power Ryzen CPUs

AMD has unveiled two low-power “GE” variants of its existing Ryzen APUs.

The Ryzen 5 2400GE and Ryzen 3 2200GE are identical to the the Ryzen 5 2400G and Ryzen 3 2200G, except for lower clock speeds and reduced power draw.

While the CPU clock speeds are lower, the new chips’ graphics processors have the same clock speeds and graphics power as the standard CPUs.

There is currently no pricing information available for the new GE chips.
