Nvidia to host GeForce event with “spectacular surprises”
Nvidia has announced it will host a GeForce Gaming Celebration event just before Gamescom 2018.
The graphics card manufacturer said its event would kick off the day before Gamescom and would contain some “spectacular surprises”.
The company will also offer exclusive demos of upcoming games and stage presentations.
Nvidia is expected to unveil its next generation of graphics cards based on its Turing architecture in the near future, and many have speculated the surprise at this event will be the reveal of a new GPU.
The company’s GeForce GTX 10-series cards were launched two years ago, and the company’s new generation of chips are expected to deliver better performance and power efficiency than current GPUs.
Nvidia’s event will take place on 20 August 2018, and users can register to attend by visiting a dedicated event page.
