Major problems with Nvidia’s high-end graphics cards

Nvidia has confirmed that there is a problem with a number of its high-end GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Founders Edition cards.

Many users have reported problems with the top-of-the-range Nvidia GPUs, ranging from graphics artifacts and frequent crashes to the hardware simply not working at all.

Some RTX 2080 Ti Founders Edition owners also reported that the replacement cards sent to them by Nvidia suffered from similar issues.

An Nvidia representative posted in the company’s forums about the problem, addressing the issue and confirming that specific GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Founders Edition cards are affected.

“Limited test escapes from early boards caused the issues some customers have experienced with RTX 2080 Ti Founders Edition,” Nvidia said.

The company advised affected users to visit the Nvidia support page and communicate with the company’s tech support team to resolve the issue.

Nvidia has not yet confirmed what the underlying problem with its RTX 2080 Ti Founders Edition graphics card is, and it has not stated how many products are affected.
