ASUS has revealed its latest high-end gaming motherboards for AMD and Intel CPUs.
The two boards have the following designations:
- Intel – ASUS ROG Rampage VI Extreme Omega
- AMD – ASUS ROG Zenith Extreme Alpha
The Intel board features an LGA 2066 socket, which can handle Intel 9th-gen Core X-Series processors.
It also has support for four M.2 drives, USB 3.1 Gen 2, Intel VROC, and Intel Optane memory.
The AMD board can handle Ryzen Threadripper 2 (TR4) processors, along with 128GB of DDR4 memory, three M.2 drives, and front panel USB 3.1 Gen 2.
Other features which both boards include are multi-GPU support, Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0, and a “DIY-friendly” design for PC builders.
