New Intel Core i5 without onboard graphics – First pricing
Intel recently unveiled a new Intel Core i5 processor without onboard graphics, the Core i5-9400F.
Following its launch, Intel has published recommended pricing and Amazon has listed the CPU on its store.
Intel said the 14nm chip has a recommended customer price of $182, while Amazon has listed the chip for $209.
The new Core i5 features 6 cores and 6 threads, a base frequency of 2.90GHz – with a max frequency of 4.10GHz – and a 9MB cache.
It draws 65W of power and can support up to 64GB of DDR4 2666 RAM.
