Acer’s new hardware in South Africa – Launch dates

Acer recently unveiled a range of new hardware products at its Next at Acer event in New York.

The new products include laptops for both professional users and gamers, monitors, desktop PCs, and workstations.

The good news for local gamers and hardware enthusiasts is that these products are coming to South Africa later this year.

Acer has stated that South Africans can expect the new hardware to launch on the dates listed below. Local pricing was shown where available. Where pricing is not shown, it is yet to be confirmed.

• Acer Chromebook 714, 715 – Available in September 2019. Starting at R7,999.
• Acer TravelMate P614-51 – Available in September 2019. Starting at R15,999.
• Acer Aspire 3, 5, 7 – Available in September 2019.
• Acer Nitro Laptops – Available in September 2019.
• Acer Spin 3 – Available in September 2019.
• Predator Helios 500, 700 – Available in September 2019.
• Predator Orion 5000 – Available in September 2019.
• Predator Gadgets (keyboard, mouse, headset) – Available in September 2019.
• ConceptD Range – Available in South Africa (No date).

The ConceptD range includes the ConceptD 5, 7, and 9 notebooks, two desktop products called the ConceptD 500 and ConceptD 900, and two displays.
