Nikon to launch D6 – The “most advanced DSLR to date”

Nikon has unveiled its latest professional DSLR camera, the D6.

Not much information was provided by Nikon, which stated that the camera is still in development – but it did provide an image of the device, featured above.

“With the D6, Nikon is currently developing its most advanced digital SLR to date,” said the company.

Nikon also announced that it is developing the AF-S NIKKOR 120-300mm f/2.8E FL ED SR VR lens, which will provide “professional photographers in fields such as sports photography with even greater support”.

“Nikon is striving to expand possibilities for imaging expression and leading the way in imaging culture with both digital SLR and mirrorless camera systems, and a rich lineup of lenses.”
