Below are all the details of the new Acer Predator gaming monitors unveiled at CES 2020.
The Predator CG552K is the highlight of Acer’s new monitor line-up thanks to its cutting-edge OLED display and powerful features.
This display boasts a 55-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160, as well as support for G-Sync and adaptive sync technology.
The panel also offers 400 nits of brightness and 98.5% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, which means it is capable of delivering an impressive viewing experience along with smooth gameplay.
“Both adaptive sync and Nvidia G-Sync compatible, the Predator CG552K provides smooth gameplay and helps gamers stay focused,” Acer said.
“It also lets them make every second count with up to an incredibly fast 0.5ms (grey to grey) response time via overdrive and a 120Hz refresh rate.”
A built-in light sensor detects the brightness of the room the monitor is placed in and adjusts the backlight levels of the screen accordingly. It also has a proximity sensor which it can use to automatically wake up when a person is nearby.
Connectivity options include three HDMI 2.0 ports, two DisplayPort v1.4 ports, and one USB Type-C port, as well as two USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports. The Predator CG552K also includes a pair of built-in 10W speakers and customizable light strips.
Acer said the Predator CG552K gaming monitor will be available in Q3 2020 starting at $2,999.
