TCL launches TVs with its latest QLED Pro tech
Global technology brand TCL has launched its newest range of TVs at a launch event in Istanbul, Turkey.
Alongside its flagship 115-inch X955 TV, TCL also launched three additions to its C-series — the C855, C755, and C655.
The C855 and C755 models both use TCL’s innovative QD-Mini LED display technology, while the C655 is a QLED TV.
“We are excited to introduce TCL’s latest generation of QD-Mini LED TVs,” said TCL Middle East General Manager Sunny Yang.
“Our objective is to cater to the evolving needs of our consumers by delivering the latest cutting-edge technology and providing a premium and exceptional entertainment experience in the Middle East and Africa markets.”
We unpack each of TCL’s new C-series TVs below.
TCL C855
The TCL C855 is the top new TV in the C-series and boasts many high-end TV technologies.
These include over 2,000 local dimming zones, a peak brightness of 3,500 nits, and up to a 97% DCI-P3 colour gamut.
This is all powered by QLED Pro, which is TCL’s latest technology to deliver even better colour and brightness.
The TV’s 144Hz refresh rate is a welcome addition for gamers and people who watch content with rapid motion.
Other important features include an ONKYO 2.2.2 Hi-Fi audio system and the TV’s AIPQ PRO processor, which supports a wide range of AI technologies that improve the viewing experience.
The C855 is available in 50, 65, 75, 85, and 98-inch models.
TCL C755 QD-Mini LED TV
TCL’s C755 model also leverages the company’s QD-Mini LED technology and offers up to 1,344 dimming zones to support its HDR performance.
It supports peak brightness levels of 1,600 nits, and like the C855 model, it has a 144Hz VRR for smooth image quality.
The C755’s AIPQ process powers the TV’s visuals, while an ONKYO 2.1 Hi-Fi sound system delivers crisp audio.
The TCL C755 is available in 55, 65, 75, 85, and 98-inch models.
TCL C655 PRO
TCL also unveiled the C655 PRO. It also uses the company’s latest QLED Pro technology and an AIPQ Pro processor.
It offers local dimming across over 100 zones and delivers up to 600 nits of brightness — all of which is powered by HDR 10+ and up to a 95% DCI-P3 colour gamut.
Just as with the other new QLED models, the C655 PRO has an ONKYO sound system to complete the home cinema experience.
The TCL C655 comes in 55, 65, 75, and 85-inch models.
