Huawei launches MediaPad X2 – the world’s slimmest phablet

Huawei has unveiled its MediaPad X2, the world’s slimmest 7-inch phablet.

At only 7.28mm thick, the MediaPad X2 integrates the functions of both a smartphone and tablet, and is available in two versions: 2GB RAM and 16GB of storage, or 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage.

Both versions are dual-sim capable, offer LTE support (including Cat 6), and boast a 7-inch HD IPS screen.

The phablet is driven by a 2.0GHz Kirin930 octa-core CPU and powered by a 5,000mAh battery – which Huawei say will give power users a full day’s run time.
