OpenWeb slashes capped ADSL pricing

Broadband prices are tumbling fast, and OpenWeb has now launched Capped Unshaped ADSL packages at prices never seen before.
The packages range from R78 for 15GB to R889 for 300GB, and include free unlimited bandwidth between 00:00 and 06:00 daily.
Even if the client has reached their cap limit, the Uncapped Late portion is available to the client.
Capped Unshaped ADSL packages offer top priority to users, with no limitations on the speed.
OpenWeb treats all ports and protocols equally, ensuring that customers get super-fast Internet access all the time.
OpenWeb founder and CEO Keoma Wright points to their A-grade network.
“Our perfectly-balanced network offers customers fast, reliable ADSL access at an affordable rate. Capped Unshaped offers them super priority which means real, fast speeds all the time.”
He said the clients have spoken: “Why limit clients during 00:00 and 06:00 when this is traditionally one of the quietest times on the network? We would prefer a well-used network as opposed to one that sits empty for no reason.”
Besides the introduction of the free uncapped bandwidth during the Late period, OpenWeb also introduced a once-off payment option for Capped account purchases.
Clients can now choose to purchase their account on a monthly or once-off basis. If the client selects once-off, the account will automatically expire at the end of the month the account is purchased in.
The Capped account will also feature instant activation if the purchase is completed using a credit card, instant EFT, or Bitcoin.
