Hetzner, South Africa’s leading specialist web hosting company, has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Customer Focus Award at this year’s National Business Awards (NBA).
The Customer Focus award is dedicated to companies with exceptional business achievement in bettering the lives of their customers and staff.
“These awards showcase and recognise the finest talent and organisations that South Africa has to offer,” says Lance Fanaroff the Joint CEO of Integr8 and the Head Judge of the National Business Awards 2015.
“The list of finalists exemplifies the National Business Awards slogan, namely ‘The Oscars of South African Business’.”
Behind every website and online experience is a web hosting company. What makes Hetzner stand apart is its ongoing commitment to customer service.
“We see ourselves as our customers’ ally and partner, helping to make their online endeavours a success,” says Athena Turner, Hetzner’s marketing and communications manager.
Earlier this year the company was awarded the Frost & Sullivan South African Web Hosting Market Leadership Award.
“Hetzner services the mass market. With this broad customer base we’re always prioritising for growth and longevity, where our motive is to continue to service our customers’ best interests. It’s our ongoing commitment to earn our customers’ trust,” adds Turner.
In order to be shortlisted as a finalist, companies had to meet certain criteria, such as illustrating strong year-on-year growth, and a commitment to service excellence.
A few of the businesses nominated for an award include Group Five, Coca-Cola South Africa, Vodacom, DHL Express and Absa Life Ltd and Woolworths Holdings Ltd.
The 2015 NBA ceremony will take place at Emperors Palace, Johannesburg on the 19th of November.
