Yeastar Linkus app gets major update – Huge improvements to Microsoft Teams in-app calling experience

Yeastar has updated its popular Linkus app with several new features that offer better integrations into Microsoft Teams.
Linkus is Yeastar’s all-in-one, feature-rich calling app that connects to your business PBX system and allows you to make, transfer, and hold calls on your PC, smartphone or web client.
This includes a dedicated integration for Microsoft Teams that inserts your Yeastar P-Series phone extension directly into the Teams app.
Users can then begin, mute, hold, transfer, and record calls via their business’s existing phone lines – including SIP Trunks, PSTN, ISDN, and more.
The integration also offers many additional administrative benefits, all of which are available through the Microsoft Teams app.
These features include looking up PBX and syncing Microsoft 365/CRM/Helpdesk contacts, listening to voicemails and call recordings, checking call logs, and more.
Users can also leverage advanced calling features not available in the Microsoft Teams phone system, including multi-level IVR, queue management, intelligent call routings, and ring groups.
All of this is easily accessible without leaving the Microsoft Teams interface, making Teams the ultimate unified communications platform.
The best part of using Yeastar Linkus for Microsoft Teams is that none of its features requires a Teams Phone licence or a Microsoft Calling Plan, nor does it require complex SBC routing.
Instead, it can be implemented in minutes and with just a few clicks by users – regardless of their technical ability.

New updates
A key feature of the recent update to Linkus is its support for Computer Telephony Integration (CTI). This lets users effortlessly manage their desk phones through Microsoft Teams.
Users can continue using their desk phones to make calls while placing and receiving these calls on the Linkus-integrated Teams app.
Support for CTI also lets users manage their call features and access their settings directly on their PCs.

The update has also removed the mandatory Linkus Web Client pop-ups that would previously appear during outgoing calls from Teams.
Now, all call control operations can be managed directly within the Teams app.
This ensures users have a seamless calling experience, with Linkus and Microsoft Teams working as one.
