Multitasking on a 34-inch ultrawide curved MSI monitor – A professional’s dream

The MSI 34-inch Pro MP341CQ monitor is a must-have for professionals, as its ultrawide design is great for replacing a dual monitor setup, and it offers a crisp 1440p resolution, a 100Hz refresh rate, and a wide range of ports.

This was our finding after spending several days reviewing the monitor first-hand.

We used the MSI 34-inch Pro to replace a dual-screen setup in our office for the review. It was much better than two monitors, as it took up less desk space while offering a more comfortable, seamless experience.

As technology journalists who spend significant amounts of hours in front of a computer each day, we  particularly appreciated these features.

When working long hours to meet tight deadlines, we found our eyes did not get tired as easily. This is particularly beneficial for staying focused and productive when burning the midnight oil and working overtime to meet tight deadlines.

Maximum comfort

The MSI Pro MP341CQ monitor is not just about size and comfort, however – as it also features an excellent 1440p VA panel.

While standard office monitors only offer 1080p resolutions, the MSI Pro MP341CQ features a much higher resolution, ensuring everything on it is crisp.

We found this to be great for a wide variety of content. When it came to general browsing and reading documents, all the text looked much better than we were used to.

From occasional gaming to watching YouTube – we could finally watch YouTube videos in true 1440p – everything looked great on this vibrant display.

The panel quality was especially notable when editing videos. We gave it to one of our media team members to test for a few days, and they enjoyed the large working area its display offered, as well as its sharp resolution.

Furthermore, the panel’s 100Hz refresh rate, provided us with a smooth experience when scrolling through, editing, and watching content.

This was especially noticeable when scrolling through websites and large documents, and also helped to reduce eye fatigue.

Multi-functional excellence

MSI thought of everything with the Pro MP341CQ monitor, including the addition of dual speakers and a headphone jack. This was great for decluttering workspaces, as we were able to get rid of our desk speakers for a cleaner setup with fewer cables.

You also get two HDMI 2.0 ports and a DisplayPort 1.2 connection, allowing you to connect multiple devices at once, while a VESA mount gives you more options for how you position the display.

These are just a few examples of how the MSI Pro MP341CQ monitor enabled us to be more productive throughout our day-to-day workflows.
