How Vodacom Business became the most trusted enterprise telecommunications provider in South Africa
Vodacom Business is the most trusted enterprise telecommunications provider in South Africa.
This is based on a MyBroadband survey of 783 business leaders who heavily influence their companies’ ICT purchasing decisions – making their opinions an excellent indicator of current market sentiment.
24% of these respondents selected Vodacom Business as their first choice for an enterprise telecommunications partner – and this was more than any other enterprise telecommunications provider included in the survey.
The company earned the top spot thanks to its dedication to offering world-class ICT services to its extensive client base over the past 15 years.
These services benefit heavily from Vodacom Business’s positioning within the larger Vodacom Group, as this means its clients get access to an extensive network of local and international points of presence (POPs) and global data and VoIP interconnects.
Through the use of this infrastructure, it provides essential services such as converged self-provisioned IP core, self-provisioned international capacity, and hosting in carrier-grade data centres.
Market leader
Kabelo Makwane, Vodacom Business Managing Executive for Cloud Hosting and Security, said at the 2024 Cloud and Hosting Conference that Vodacom Business is effectively the largest fintech company in Africa.
This is because the company manages hundreds of millions of customers’ data across a large number of databases.
It also serves a diverse array of clients, including SMBs, enterprises, and even governments – highlighting the versatility and flexibility of its services and teams.
It is therefore unsurprising that Vodacom Business is South Africa’s most trusted enterprise telecommunications provider.
