Wire-Wire – The new FNO bringing affordable Internet to Tembisa
Wire-Wire, a new fibre network operator (FNO), is committed to bridging the digital divide in South Africa through affordable, accessible, and available Internet.
Its network already passes 15 818 homes and boasts 6,300 connections in Tembisa – an impressive feat for such a new FNO.
Thanks to Wire-Wire, Tembisa residents will now be able to enjoy up to 100Mbps connectivity at extremely affordable prices – from R5 per hour or R119 per month.
These 100Mbps speeds are sufficient for all your streaming, gaming, and online learning needs.
Clients can pay for their Internet in various ways, including 1Voucher, Flash, OTT, BluVoucher, EasyPay Voucher, EFT, and debit and credit cards.
Reliable network quality
Wire-Wire’s fibre-to-the-home wireless mesh network ensures connectivity throughout Tembisa – not only at home.
This is powered by a 100Gbps backbone network built in partnership with Calix, ensuring the network will remain stable and fast and is future-proofed against rising demand.
Wire-Wire has also ensured its connectivity services will remain available during power outages.
This is thanks to its own redundancy measures, as well as the fact that subscribers will receive a modem with a small UPS.
