The latest TorrentFreak statistics, DStv BoxOffice Most Popular list, and Apple iTunes South Africa chart have been released, giving insight into which movies are the most downloaded internationally and locally.
TorrentFreak states that its weekly download chart is an estimation of the most downloaded movies on BitTorrent.
According to the TorrentFreak list, 22 Jump Street was the most downloaded movie, followed by How to Train Your Dragon 2, and The Purge: Anarchy.
The movies on the TorrentFreak download list are mostly, if not always, pirate copies, and illegal to download in South Africa. Other means to get movies online, like DStv BoxOfiice or Apple’s iTunes, are therefore advised.
