Vidi gets Sherlock, Atlantis, other BBC shows

Vidi, the video on demand (VOD) service from Times Media Group which launched in September 2014, has announced that it has signed a deal with BBC Worldwide.
With the signing of the deal a number of new shows will become available on its platform from the beginning of February, Vidi said.
Among the series coming to Vidi is Sherlock, the hit show starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, and Atlantis.
Other BBC shows that will be available on Vidi include:
- Luther (all three seasons)
- Ashes to Ashes, the sequel to the Life on Mars
- Misfits
- Gavin & Stacey
- The Catherine Tate Show
For wildlife fans there will be three of the latest David Attenborough narrated series: Life, Frozen Planet, and Human Planet.
Children’s shows Charlie and Lola, and 3rd & Bird will also be coming to the VOD service.
“Further exciting BBC titles will be added to the Vidi line-up in the weeks and months ahead,” Times Media Group said.
