YouTube Red – the ultimate YouTube experience
YouTube has launched YouTube Red – a subscription service designed to “provide you with the ultimate YouTube experience”. The service will launch on 28 October in the United States.
Priced at $9.99 per month, the service offers subscribers ad-free videos, an offline mode, and the ability to play videos in the background.
“Your membership extends across devices and anywhere you sign into YouTube, including our recently-launched Gaming app and a brand new YouTube Music app,” said YouTube.
Starting early in 2016, YouTube Red will provide member-only access to original shows and movies.
“We’re working to bring YouTube Red and our YouTube Music, Gaming, and Kids apps to more countries soon.”
