MWEB Business slashes hosting fees
MWEB Business today officially launched its new “range of high-specification, low-cost” hosted server offerings.
“With no set-up fees, large traffic bundles and additional traffic charges of R0.02 per MB, MWEB Business has made it feasible for even small, budget-strapped organisations to have their own powerful server that is not only hosted in the most secure environment but is also monitored 24/7,” MWEB Business said in a press statement.
Bernard Kur, Head of Product Management and Development at MWEB Business says the new hosted server offerings give businesses of all sizes greater choice of computing power at affordable costs.
“The initial purchase price of even an entry-level server is often beyond the reach of a SME, many of whom often resort to using an old PC as their business server,” says Kur.
“Now, for just R683 per month (incl VAT), a business can have it all: a dedicated, powerful server with 4GB RAM and 50GB of traffic as well as all the benefits of having the server hosted in MWEB Business’s exceptionally secure, climate-controlled Data Centre with its redundant power supply, 24/7 monitoring, onsite engineers, stringent access control and sophisticated firewalls.”
For larger businesses or those requiring even more computing power, MWEB Business offers three additional packages, some of which include sophisticated management services. All Server hosting packages include email and SMS notifications.
