How many Oscar-winning movies are on Netflix

Netflix on laptop screen

TorrentFreak recently conducted a survey to see which Oscar-winning movies are on Netflix in the US.

This was in response to a study commissioned by the Motion Picture Association of America which found that there are over 480 online video services available around the world.

TorrentFreak argued that an important factor was missing from the analysis, though – the content is scattered across the services.

Subscribers can’t get all the most popular content by subscribing to a single platform, it said.

TorrentFreak added that a report from Allflix showed the US Netflix catalogue had shrunk by over 2,500 titles since 2014.

TorrentFreak also stated that not many Oscar-winning movies are available on Netflix US – as detailed in the table below.
