Top 10 South African websites

Effective Measure has released its website traffic statistics for March 2016, which reveal that News24 is the largest South African website – earning 6 million unique local browsers.

Effective Measure is the official traffic measurement partner of the IAB South Africa, and provides accurate traffic and demographics statistics for SA’s top websites.

According to the stats, News24 attracted over 6 million South African Internet browsers during March.

Gumtree was ranked second with 4.8 million local browsers, followed by TimesLive with 3.1 million.

The table below shows the top 10 websites in South Africa, based on South African unique browsers.

It should be noted that only IAB-affiliated websites running Effective Measure’s tracking code are included in the table.
