Skype Bots now available on Mac and Web

Skype has released preview Skype Bots on Mac and Web, promising to bring expertise, products, services, and entertainment to daily messaging on Skype.

This follows the launch of a new Skype client for Windows, Android, iPhone, and iPad, which brought the Skype Bot experience to users.

The company said Skype Bots is initially available through messaging, and in the future will be available for audio and video calling.

Skype said this is only the beginning. “We can shape what it looks like to shop, play a game, order food, schedule meetings, book trips, control your smart home, and more”.
