Twitter testing Periscope live broadcast button
Twitter for Android users have reported seeing a “Go Live” button when they compose Tweets, The Verge reported.
It said select users can tap the button, who are then directed to Periscope where they can begin a live streaming video from their smartphone.
If you do not have Periscope installed and you press the button, you are taken to the Google Play Store.
The Verge reported that Twitter confirmed it was testing the feature, adding that all its users will eventually have the ability to start a Periscope broadcast from Twitter.
