iWeek XV registrations open

iWeek XV, the fifteenth annual Internet industry conference, takes place in Johannesburg from 19 to 23 September.

The conference hosts South African Internet industry professionals and offers workshops and training opportunities for Internet companies.

Most of the conference is open to the public, and attendance is free.

This year’s conference is co-hosted by ISPA and INX-ZA, and features the ZA Central Registry (ZACR) and the ZA Domain Name Authority (ZADNA).

Two days of technical content are planned for 20-21 September.

This includes workshops for network engineers, updates from ZADNA and the ZACR, and a session from WASPA – which is a new partner for this year’s event.

The Gauteng Chapter of the Internet Society will host an SA Internet governance forum, and AFRINIC will host a technical workshop.

Register for the conference on the iWeek website.
