South Africa’s ZAdotCities domains – .capetown, .joburg, and .durban – have achievedĀ an impressive number of registrations, said the ZA Central Registry (ZACR).
“The Internet presence of our three leading cities is rapidly becoming a South African online success story,” said ZACR CEO Lucky Masilela.
The statistics for these gTLDs are available on ZACR’s website.
The three dotCities domains were made available to the public in July 2014, and haveĀ seen the following number of registrations:
- .capetown: over 4,500
- .joburg: over 3,500
- .durban: over 2,500
