Telkom’s new ShowMax zero-rated data package
Telkom and ShowMax have partnered to give customers a bolt-on package which “effectively zero-rates the data consumed by the streaming service”.
Telkom said the product is available from 20 September, and according to its website, the Telkom Entertainment Bolt-On is R99 per month.
ShowMax customers also have the option to add the streaming service’s separate R99 fee to their monthly Telkom bill.
Telkom said the bolt-on service is available on selected Telkom packages, and will give fibre and DSL users up to 100GB of data to stream ShowMax.
LTE customers will receive 10GB of ShowMax data.
