Facebook has launched a new Privacy Basics to “make it easier for people to find tools for controlling their information on Facebook”.
Facebook said Privacy Basics features improved functionality and “top topics based on your most frequently asked questions about privacy and security”.
“Everything is organised so that information about protecting your privacy is easy to find. Privacy Basics puts you in the driver’s seat,” said the company.
The privacy interface allows users to secure their account, understand who can see their posts, and know what their profile looks like to others.
Facebook said users should also take the Privacy Checkup to make sure their account is only visible to people they want to see it.
