What young males do on the Internet

Software provider Videology has released the findings of its survey into the “digital habits of millennial males”.

“The survey, which covered topics like device preferences and streaming habits, was distributed to 500 males using Google surveys,” said the company.

The survey found that over half of respondents had stopped paying for cable packages, while a quarter wanted to upgrade their Internet speed in 2017.

Other results included:

  • 11% plan to buy some kind of wearable technology in 2017.
  • 75% would rather give up cable than streaming services.
  • 61% primarily stream movies through a connected TV, computer, or mobile device.
