Twitter recently sent a survey to subscribers asking which features they would like to see in a premium version of Tweetdeck, and whether they would be willing to pay for the app.
TechCrunch reported that one respondent was asked whether they would be willing to pay $19.99 per month for an “advanced” Tweetdeck, while another was asked if they would pay $4.99.
It reported that when news of the survey became public, Twitter released the following statement:
We’re conducting this survey to assess the interest in a new, more enhanced version of Tweetdeck. We regularly conduct user research to gather feedback about people’s Twitter experience and to better inform our product investment decisions, and we’re exploring several ways to make Tweetdeck even more valuable for professionals.
