Google Maps will now show you where you parked.
To use the feature, users tap their “blue dot” and select “Save your parking” in Android. In iOS, it’s “Set as parking location”.
A label will then appear on the map, showing where you parked your car.
You can then tap the label to add additional details about the parking spot, such as a level or parking space number.
It also lets you save a photo of your parking spot, which can be sent to contacts.
“This is in addition to the automatic parking detection you might have noticed in Google Maps for iOS,” said Google.
“If you connect to your car using USB audio or Bluetooth, your parking spot will be automatically added to the map when you exit the vehicle.”
A similar automatic parking detection feature exists in Waze.
