Google launches new features for Photos

Google has launched three “new ways to share” in its Photos service, the company announced at its annual developer conference.

The new features are:

  • Suggested Sharing – Google uses machine learning in Google Photos to remind you to share photos of other people in your library, and suggests who you should share which photos with.
  • Shared Libraries – This lets users automatically share photos with friends or family. Users can also select to share photos of certain people or from a certain date.
  • Photo Books – Physical photos albums which are printed based on photos in your library. Google will find the best photos for the album you want to make and compile them before sending the book to be printed. Photos Books start at $9.99.
