Google Maps adds questions and answers feature

Google has launched a questions and answers feature for Google Maps.

The Google Maps for Android and mobile Search feature – currently rolling out – lets users ask or answer questions about a place, and read existing questions and answers about a location.

“You can add a question, answer someone else’s question, or upvote informative ones by tapping the thumbs up icon,” said Google.

“Upvoted questions and answers will appear toward the top of the section so that the most helpful content is most accessible.”

Business owners can also add frequently-asked questions and answers, and they will be notified of questions about their listing.
